Hi My names jacki and at writing this I am 42 yrs old I started card making after I had an accident at work that left me unable to return so as I had plenty of time on my hands I thought I should take up a hobby as I'd gone from working full time to not working at all,so My dear friend got me into cross stitch which I must say I love doing but with this hobby it can take months sometimes even years to finish a piece of work.So while browsing the cross stitch mags I came acroos the card making ones and was intrigued as to how you make them so I brought a couple of mags and that's how I got started and now I am hooked.Unfortunately (well not really) it's taken over from my cross stitch now and I tend to do more cards.Everything I do is self taught I have not been to any classes, yes I watch demos on C&C and so on but apart from that it's all me. I have been in the creative card making magazine making a couple of cards for them.I am married to Phil who is a wonderful man and puts up with all my stash being everywhere we have been together 24 years and have a beautiful daughter Amy who is 18 no she isn't interested in my hobby she has had a go but would rather get me to make her cards than do them herself.We have a big daft German Shepherd called Jasper who is 6 and itsy bitsy cat called Charley who 14.
I love gorey films such as jigsaw but then I also love girly films like ugly cyote and dirty dancing as for music well I grew up loving Adam Ant and still do but also love Darren Hayes I also like the music of Kings of leon scissor sisters and many more but my minds gone blank.
